Overview
"AAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHAHA!"
―Gangle with a Tommy gun.

Gangle is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated YouTube series The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by Marissa Lenti. She is a humanoid made of ribbons created as a digital copy of a human mind in the Digital Circus along with five other copies.

Her human counterpart in the real world, Zoey Raghavan, is a former fast food restaurant manager who quit her job after an accident and resumed her studies as a graphic design student.

Appearance

Gangle appears to be made up of four candy-red ribbons that form a humanoid shape. Her face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and mouth. Her body consists of the main mass of the ribbons that curl, making a spring shape that spirals four times, two ribbons that form her legs, and a single ribbon for her arms (one end is the right arm, while the other end is her left arm). Whenever her Comedy Mask gets broken or removed, her next mask appears, switching to a sad version of the former, clarified by Gooseworx as her Tragedy Mask. The Comedy Mask is just used to make her look happy, not actually change her emotion. It is shown she can smile even with the Tragedy Mask.

In "Fast Food Masquerade", Gangle changes her mask for a different one that Zooble gave her, now having her left eye with a white pupil and her right eye white with a black pupil. There is a yellow star under her left eye and a pink spiral under her right eye. This mask is made from plastic as opposed to the porcelain of the other two as confirmed by Zooble, so it does not break easily. As the Spudsy's shift manager, Gangle wears a uniform comprising of a blue short-sleeve dress shirt with a collar, with a slightly lighter blue tie on top; black pants with a brown belt and grey belt buckle, and regular black shoes. Finally, a yellow name tag on the top-right of her chest says "GANGLE" in handwriting.

In "Untitled", in her own suggestion, she wears a white seifuku uniform tailored to her ribbon-based silhouette. It features a dark blue collar and a blue skirt. Notably, the standard necktie has been replaced with a tie made of delicate ribbons, and the uniform is adorned with 6 yellow ring-shaped buttons that echo her circular form. In Zooble's bar suggestion, she is wearing a white dress, high-collared vest or bodice with dark, contrasting trim.

In "Beach Episode", her beach outfit consists of a two-piece blue swimsuit with a bandeau top and knee-length high-waist pleated skirt, along with a wide yellow sunhat with a blue ribbon.

Personality

Gangle's emotions and behavior are influenced by which mask she is currently wearing. However, it is revealed that these masks do not completely change her mood, rather they are a literal form of "masking" and are not the sole deciders of her personality. The masks merely change the way Gangle's feelings are presented. When she has her Comedy Mask, her tone, posture, and behavior is masked as pleasant, upbeat, and extroverted. Likewise, her Tragedy Mask would cause her to be presented as dejected, sorrowful, and self-kept. Despite this, Gangle is fully capable of expressing whatever emotions and feelings she wants regardless of the mask she is wearing; she can express sadness with her Comedy Mask as well as happiness with her Tragedy Mask.

Gangle is referred to by Jax as one of the most "mentally stable and capable characters" in a mocking manner. Due to her mask breaking easily, Gangle is fragile in both a literal and figurative sense. Because of her emotional fragility, Gangle is an easy target for Jax's taunts, who enjoys tormenting her. Zooble themself points out that Gangle is too shy to speak up, possibly to avoid conflict with the other Circus members. Gangle had positive feelings towards Ragatha, although she acknowledged that Ragatha could sometimes be seen as disingenuous. At the end of "Fast Food Masquerade", Gangle expresses her concern that she will be hated by everyone after the events of the episode.

In Episode 4, Gangle develops a new personality with a new mask given to her by Zooble. While wearing this mask, she becomes outgoing and confident, but also bossy, controlling and manic. She also internally cracks when others mention they like her better when she is sad, or that her new personality is annoying.

Through Episodes 5 and 6, her friendship with Zooble grows, and she stands up to Jax more, starting a vote to give him a maid outfit after the idea is planted into her head by Zooble, and even goes to Zooble asking them to hold her Comedy Mask as she talks about wanting to fire a Tommy gun while wearing said mask and doesn't want to risk breaking it. She then expresses to Zooble that she doesn't know how she should like the side she thinks makes her worse than everyone, to which, once Zooble teaches her about self-love, it revitalizes Gangle's confidence. This seems to have helped Gangle finally accept herself for who she is, as when she gets eliminated by Pomni, her Comedy Mask breaks again, but behind it, her Tragedy Mask instead dawns a happy expression that the Comedy Mask would typically make her have.

By Episode 7 and 8, Gangle has grown significantly both psychologically and socially. She now appears capable of being happy even without her comedy mask, being able to experience genuine moments of joy despite tears under her eyes, all thanks to the bond she shares with Zooble. By Episode 9, she is finally able to experience real human emotions after witnessing Jax's abstraction, crying real tears. At first, she is confused by this, but finally accepts this and her pity for Jax.

Biography

Background

Before her arrival in the Amazing Digital Circus, Gangle's real life counterpart, Zoey Raghavan, born on September 22nd 1991[4] was an ordinary human with a passion for anime. At one point, she pursued a degree in graphic design at a community college, though later dropped out for reasons unknown and did not do much with her art after that, instead working in the fast-food industry as a shift manager. She was injured in an accident involving a truck and was hospitalized.

After Jax was made, Gangle was made once Zoey experienced a digital brainscan, manifesting in the Amazing Digital Circus under the claim of donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer. Once there, she became a Digital Avatar in the form of a theater mask with a body made of ribbons. Jax came up with her name, reasoning it to be as "pathetic as how she looks".[5] From that day forward, Gangle was used as a punching bag for Jax, being too submissive to even confront him.

"PILOT" (Episode 1)

Gangle first appears in the episode "PILOT". She is introduced in the opening theme song, but Pomni knocks over Jax, who falls onto Kinger, who in turn tumbles into Gangle. She lands face-first, which causes her comedy mask to break, making her cry and showing her next, sadder mask. Jax is seen stepping on her comedy mask, cracking it even more, making Gangle sob in response.

Gangle later pipes up during a conversation quietly saying, "What about Zooble?" Showing her concern for the other performer. Gangle gets paired up with Kinger to find Zooble and deal with the Gloinks. Later in the episode, Gangle reappears with Kinger, as they're gazing down a pitch-black hole, where they can hear Zooble distantly screaming. Gangle has to remind Kinger that they saw one of the Gloinks carry Zooble's pieces down there, seemingly startling Kinger.

She then asks Jax how Kaufmo is doing, saying that she hopes he isn't mad at her for not laughing at his jokes. Jax then throws a bowling ball at Kinger, who smacks against Gangle, pulling her down. Jax goes down the hole with them, and they all tumble down a long and fun-shaped slide, entering the Gloink Queen's Nest.

After Jax states that he doesn't want to help Zooble anymore, Kinger and Gangle play rock-paper-scissors to see who will go and save Zooble. Gangle loses, saddening her, while Kinger looks ecstatic about getting to help Zooble. After the Gloink Queen is defeated, Gangle shows confusion and is surprised when she learns that Kaufmo was abstracted.

On their way out, Jax offers to let Gangle go first, but changes his mind immediately after muttering: "No, wait, why would I say that?" and shoves Gangle onto the floor, and she enters last. At the end of the episode, she can be seen eating the digital feast with the other performers discussing compost with the rest of the group. She appears to be eyeing Pomni with worry, asking her if she is feeling alright (although the dialogue is inaudible).

"Candy Carrier Chaos!" (Episode 2)

Gangle is seen at The Tent with the rest of the crew (except Zooble) getting pushed into the portal by Caine, although she doesn't say anything much. In the Candy Canyon Kingdom, when they are walking to the castle, she expressed how much she likes the place, before a mannequin charges into her and breaks her comedy mask.

When the crew goes to the truck, Jax runs to it saying, "I call shotgun", before ironically forcing Gangle to drive after he is not pleased by the sound of the horn. Later when the crew is driving to catch the bandits, Jax says, "You drive over to the other truck and I'll shoot'em repeatedly until they're unrecognizable", before Gangle says, "I feel like that violates some kind of convention". When Gangle refuses to comply with what Jax wants, he threatens her on revealing about the "figurine thing", making her laugh in a forced manner before ramming into the bandits shortly after.

When the group returned to the circus, they attended Kaufmo's funeral. When it was Gangle's turn to speak, she showed a drawing of her and Kaufmo then began crying as she recounted her memories of her abstracted friend.

"The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor" (Episode 3)

Gangle was seen on the couch taking notes on Pomni's special power when she holds her breath, it is revealed at Gangle's mask spins when she holds her breath, she enters the Mildenhall Manor with the rest of the crew (except Zooble). Jax throws her Comedy Mask into a door which turns out to be the scary door, causing her to be disappointed, she follows Ragatha and Jax into the normal door and meets Martha Mildenhall, who invites them to have tea, after the tea the group heads to the main entrance of the mansion where they learn they have to wait for the others before they can leave and she asks Ragatha how long that would be. After Pomni and Kinger reunited with the rest of the group Gangle asks if they remember to retrieve her Comedy Mask, causing both of them to realize they forgot.

"Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4)

Gangle is seen in The Tent playing softball with Jax and Ragatha, which results in Jax accidentally breaking her comedy mask.

While Jax and Ragatha argue, Zooble pulls Gangle aside to show her something in their room. In Zooble's room, Zooble pulls a plastic mask from the "Zooble" box, containing all of Zooble's detachable pieces. Zooble explains that the plastic mask may be more durable, as it isn't made of a fragile material. Gangle tries on the plastic mask, to which she says in reply to Zooble's question of how it feels "normal".

Caine pulls Pomni, Jax, Ragatha, Zooble, and Gangle to the center of the tent to share the day's adventure which is "The Curse of the Violent Psychopath Butcher", to which Pomni dislikes the idea and that she does not want it to be like "last time". After Caine is reminded of a suggestion box for adventures, and the first two suggestions are odd, Gangle suggests that they pick a more "normal" adventure. Caine then pulls out a suggestion for the cast to spend the day working at a fast food restaurant called "Spudsy's". Gangle agrees, and Caine deems Gangle as the shift manager. Ironically, Gangle mentions she was a shift manager at some point, possibly before she entered the circus. The seemingly down-to-earth adventure upsets both Jax and Zooble, but before they could protest, they were forcefully sent to Spudsy's to begin the adventure.

At the "Spudsy's" restaurant, Gangle starts up the shift for everyone and gets into "manager mode". It seems to be second nature for her to do so, further proving that she was once a shift manager and good at it too.

Jax throws Ragatha into a deep fryer, to which Gangle calls Caine and suggests a punishment for bad employees, to which Caine agrees, with a vague answer to what the punishment will be.

At lunch hour, Gangle asks Jax to clean the bathroom, which she describes as a "biohazard". Jax refuses and says that he prefers Gangle when she's sad. The sound of breaking glass is heard (meaning she cracked emotionally) and Gangle drags Jax to an empty room as a dated "employee training video" plays. In the tape, Gangle says the viewer is thinking they (the viewer) wants be a comic artist and then launch a web comic, adding it's cool to have dreams before she says the viewer's dreams are completely unrealistic and need to stop trying, implying that Gangle could've been an aspiring webcomic author/artist before entering the circus, but was discouraged by others. She is projecting.

In the employee training video, Gangle asks if the viewer is smiling, to which Jax replies "no", before the music stops, and Gangle asks "Why not?" and her face turns creepy. Suddenly, cartoonish extendable arms then tie Jax to a chair and bring him closer to the screen as Gangle says it's time for their re-evaluation as a mind-control/hypnosis-type video plays, flashing between Gangle's comedy mask and tragedy mask interchangeably.

Gangle approaches Ragatha (who had previously gotten "stupid sauce" in her eye, making her act intoxicated) to request she does her work properly and help Zooble, to which a word-slurring Ragatha says "Why are you even the boss anyways? I feel like I'm way more responsible than you," to which Gangle replies by suggesting Ragatha just does as she's told so she doesn't end up hurt, and attempting to motivate Ragatha. Ragatha uncharacteristically and unintentionally replies with "No offense, but you're kind of annoying when you have your happy mask," which is followed by a close-up of an annoyed Gangle, and once again the sound of glass cracking. Gangle asks Zooble to help with Ragatha in a depressed tone while heading to a corner.

Jax is eventually freed from the dark room, a blank expression on his face quickly turning to anger when he looks at the clock and realizes no time has passed since he entered. Jax tells Gangle he thinks the clock is broken, to which Gangle replies almost losing the sense of reality; "Is it broken, are we the broken ones? How long has this shift really gone on for? Six hours? Eight? 24? A week? A year? Does time even move in here? Will we ever go home? Will we ever achieve our dreams?" before being cut off by the sound of her watch beeping and coming back to reality, and replying "Oh wait, yeah that clock's broken."

At dinnertime, Gangle walks out through the back door, takes off her plastic mask, sighs, and screams into her hands, before being caught by Pomni taking out the garbage. When asked if she's okay, Gangle replies "My comedy mask is usually broken by now…" implying that Gangle is not used to keeping her "happy mask" or state of being on high for such a long period of time. Pomni asks if she has anyone to talk to before suggesting talking to Ragatha, to which Gangle replies "Oh, Ragatha. I love her, but… after a while, it gets kind of hard to tell how genuine she's actually being," both a reference to Ragatha hurting her feelings prior to this moment, and also a nod to Ragatha's overly optimistic "people pleasing attitude," before putting back on her plastic mask and saying, "Anyway, we can't spend all night out here talking about our feelings. We've got work to do!" followed by a weak, forced laugh, proceeding to walk back into the building.

After this interaction, the restaurant begins to close. Jax leaves the second the shift is over, and Zooble offers to drive Ragatha home due to her being intoxicated by stupid sauce. Gangle half-heartedly agrees, not even taking notice of the time. After Ragatha, Jax, and Zooble leave, Gangle is depressingly walking around the building after standing there for roughly an hour and heavily dissociating before Pomni snaps her back to reality and offers to close the restaurant for her. This seems to raise her spirits a bit and Gangle agrees, finally clocking out. Gangle leaves, and stops under a streetlight and stares out at the road before throwing her plastic comedy mask into the sky, smiling, and running onto the road, dancing and seemingly being truly happy for the first time all day, before tripping, and a truck racing towards her.

Just before she is hit, however, the scene then cuts to an office with Caine going over Gangle's performance review. He explains that she did a good job, but "cut her own shift short, went a little kooky, and ran out into oncoming traffic". Caine then offered that she could put the blame onto Pomni, Jax, Ragatha, or Zooble, to which Gangle refuses and takes responsibility.

Back at the tent, Zooble approaches Gangle, who's drawing an anime/manga character on a notepad, and asks why she's so far away from the other cast members. Gangle replies with a sniff: "I messed everything up... The mask didn't work, and now I don't think anybody wants to talk to me anymore." where Zooble replies "I still like talking to you. Look, the new mask was a bust. So, what? I'm sure we'll find something that works eventually." before taking Gangle to hang out with the rest of the cast, and says to bring her art because she likes seeing her drawings.

"Untitled" (Episode 5)

Gangle, along with her fellow circus members, go through a portal after an adventure with her broken comedy mask, but it gets fixed by Caine as she is about to leave. She then gets sent back along with the others by Caine, to discuss about the which adventures are better: Caine's or those in the Suggestion Box. Caine then decides on a “Lightning Round”, in which they all go through adventures based off of everyone's suggestions to prove his adventures are better. Gangle is so dumbfounded by this that her mask breaks upon hearing Caine's idea because of the sheer terror she feels just from imagining what could happen. He opens up a portal, and Gangle and everyone else get sucked in.

In the first adventure, "Poacher's Paradise", Gangle is seen as a rhinoceros, before getting shot and mauled by Jax. Due to his behavior, and following Zooble's suggestion, Gangle and the others vote Jax to be a vegan for the rest of the day, and to change the adventure. In the next adventure, "President Pomni", Gangle shows up in the oval office wearing a time bomb on herself. She plays the role of a New Zealander extremist, though she claims she doesn't know what extremists threaten people with, right before the bomb explodes. Everyone then moves on to Gangle's suggested adventure, in which they're all students in an anime-style school classroom. Even though she was flustered that Zooble knew it was her suggestion, she was happy with the current setting as she drew on her papers. However, when Jax was about to expose a secret regarding what Gangle does with her anime figures, she decides to change the adventure.

In the fourth adventure, "Stargazing", the group Relaxes among the stars outside the Digital Circus. Zooble offers a sandwich to Gangle and she takes a bite of it, while Jax, Ragatha, and Pomni discuss Gangle's happiness. Caine watches them, and—frustrated by what he sees—decides to cut the scene and start an intermission. After the intermission ends, they find themselves in a 1930s-style bar. Zooble hands out drinks and asks Gangle what jobs she had in her past life. Gangle replies that she mostly worked in fast food, but also pursued graphic design in community college before dropping out and not doing much with it. While she didn't pursue her hobbies as much after that, Zooble was open to drawing art with her. Later, Jax brings up that Ragatha once told Gangle to kill herself, which Ragatha quickly denies, claiming she was "on stupid sauce" and would never say such a thing. Gangle smiles at the comment, showing that she doesn't seem to mind what happened at Spudsy's. Caine then gets bored and switches the adventure's one last time.

In the final adventure, "Good Ol' Fashioned Softball", Gangle and the others are players on "The Big Tops" team, and while they're shown to be facing against their evil counterparts, the "The Evil Big Tops", she was confused when she noticed that she didn't have an evil clone of her own. While benched on the side, Gangle giggles as Zooble whispers something in her ear, which (presumably) encourages her to suggest something in secret, and it ends up getting majority approval. Jax ends up wearing a maid outfit, much to his anger. When her turn came up, she hits a (off-camera) home run for the team, and as the game ends, she compliments Ragatha for her efforts on the field, before everyone returns to the Circus.

"They All Get Guns" (Episode 6)

Gangle, along with everyone else, shows up to the main stage in the Tent as Caine announced the day's adventure. She appears interested when Caine mentions the sports he's come up with, and she is surprised when Jax first shoots Ragatha. Jax grabs Gangle's hand and tells her to join him as his partner for the adventure, but Gangle doesn't let him and lets him know that she's actually going to be on a team with Zooble. Jax takes her comedy mask and puts it above him, out of reach for Gangle, prompting her to try and reach for it. Zooble grabs the mask from Jax and Gangle follows her, where they give the mask back to Gangle. She later asks Zooble to hold on to her happy mask, as she doesn't trust herself with it. She mentions that she wants to be able to fire a Tommy gun while laughing maniacally and doesn't want it to break before that moment. Zooble assures her that she'll keep it safe. When the game begins, she yells at Zooble about needing to find the Tommy gun, and they both run off.

At the railing above, right after Zooble shoots Kinger, she isn't sure if she and Zooble are safe up there, before they both duck when Kinger and Ragatha try to shoot them.

When Gangle and Zooble hide out in the Castle area, Zooble finds an AK-47 and asks Gangle if it will do in case they don't find the Tommy gun and Gangle says yes. Gangle asks Zooble if they think Jax is going to be mad because she didn't team up with him. Zooble tells her to not worry about that right now, but Gangle is convinced that Jax probably wants revenge. Zooble sits down with her, reassuring her that she's doesn't deserve to think about that, and how she's not his toy, she's a human, but Gangle says that it doesn't always feel that way. She questions to Zooble "how are you supposed to like the part of yourself that just...makes you worse than everyone else?" Zooble replies "'cause it exists" and how the only you she should care about is the real you; she should have to choose to love herself, even it doesn't make sense. Gangle asks if Zooble has ever had to make that choice but then says "Of course not. You're Zooble." Gangle takes Zooble's hand and stands up, and Zooble says "I've got your back if you've got mine." Gangle then decides that they should now go kill Pomni and Jax.

Sometime after Gangle and Zooble both lose two lives, presumedly caused by Jax and Pomni, they are getting chased by the duo in some large multi-colored aboveground tunnels Zooble and Gangle run through a long stretch of tunnel, barely dodging bullets from Jax and Pomni. They get a break around the corner, where Gangle seems out of breath. While Zooble shoots back at Team Bad Guys, Gangle notices that the Tommy gun is next to her, then she tells Zooble "It's time." Gangle, now with her comedy mask, runs out into the tunnel with the Tommy gun, laughing maniacally and shooting wildly. Somehow, Jax and Pomni dodge the bullets, but Gangle shoots around Jax and Pomni in a circle, breaking the tunnel, now with holes around the side of it. The tunnel collapses, and Gangle, Jax, Pomni, Zooble, and their weapons fall out onto a level of the tent below, right outside of the bedroom hallways. Gangle's comedy mask somehow manages to stay intact, and she seems very happy about it. Gangle and Pomni both pick up a gun. They both shoot at the same time, but Gangle barely misses, and Pomni shoots her right in the forehead. After Gangle falls to the ground, her comedy mask breaks, revealing her sad mask still smiling. She disappears and is transferred to the loser corner.

When Zooble pops in to the loser corner, Gangle, Ragatha, and Kinger are cosplaying as cats with black ears, whiskers, and tails.

At the Favorite Character Awards, Gangle sits next to Zooble and behind Kinger. When Zooble gets an award, Gangle is smiling next to her.

When Caine sees how many Committee members voted for him, it is shown that Gangle got three votes.

"Beach Episode" (Episode 7)

At the beginning of Beach Episode, Pomni finds Zooble hiding in a box. Pomni explains to Zooble that Gangle had been searching for them, and Gangle picks them up out of the box with a happy greeting. Pomni mentions that she actually hasn't seen Caine all day. upon seeing this, she ironically finds a note from Caine that he is out for the day.

Gangle, along with the rest of the gang, is taken to the A Day At The Beach Adventure by Caine. Before smashing a watermelon, blindfolded, with a bat, Zooble draws Jax's face into the watermelon before Gangle smashes it, making her amused.

"hjsakldfhl" (Episode 8)

Gangle sits with the rest of the circus members after the revelation about Caine's last adventure. She remains quiet while Jax and Zooble argue about how he could have ruined their one chance to escape, even if it wasn't real but when the argument escalates, Gangle sides with Jax. Gangle states that it doesn’t matter what could have happened and that continuing to argue will only hurt everyone further. Gangle says that the only thing they can do now is be there for each other. Pomni suggests abandoning the idea of leaving the circus. When Zooble expresses distress over losing their dreams and goals, Gangle tells them that they have made a mark in her life. Zooble becomes emotional and hugs Gangle, who is surprsed by this before returning the hug and smiling.

A few days after Caine’s musical number, Gangle returns from another adventure with the others holding her comedy mask which has broken in two. She then tries to catch Zooble as they falls apart but she only manages to catch their body. When Zooble apologizes for antagonizing Caine, Gangle tells them it wasn’t their fault while holding their head and re-attaching one of their pieces.

In the crows-nest, she is sitting with the circus members on the barstools eating cake with berries on top, and is unfazed when Pomni who is sitting next to her disappears into thin air but more aware when she comes back. After the discussion with Kinger about C&A she joins in with Ragatha and Zooble in distracting Caine while Pomni and Kinger work on their plan.

During this, Caine uses Gangle as part of his entertainment, transforming her and the others for his own amusement. First into a bowling pin and later into a piece of abstract art. When Pomni returns confronting Caine, Gangle joins the others in expressing their grievances. She says that he discourages them from thinking outside the box and doing things their own way.

After reaching his breaking point, Caine transforms and subjects each of the members to personal torture. Gangle is surrounded by images of her expressions as they spin around her and begin to melt off the canvases before she is struck by a truck.

Caine then restrains the group, smashing them agains a wall and demands to know why they torment him. As this happens, Kinger attempts to alter Caine’s code. After Kinger accidentally deletes Caine, Gangle watches as the circus begins to darken and break apart. With the others, she is left in shock with an open mouth, as they realize Caine is gone and the circus has fallen apart.

"The One Who's Running The Show" (Mid-Episode 8)

Caine does a musical number asserting his dominance over the cast. During the musical number, he blows Gangle up into a balloon, folds her into a balloon dog, and then pops her with a pin. Later, he forces Gangle to dance along with the rest of the cast.

"Remember" (Episode 9)

Gangle appears in the intro, which glitches out and cuts to the present. Gangle is distraught upon learning from Kinger that she is the result of a brain scan and thus can never leave the Circus. She tries to engage with Zooble, but they are unresponsive, and Gangle leaves, upset. Eventually, Gangle comes to terms with her situation and joins Kinger, Pomni, Ragatha and Zooble in attempting to patch the holes in the Circus. At some point after this, due to his bitterness and loneliness, Jax abstracts. Gangle blames herself for not being able to cry for the loss of Jax, venting to Zooble about it.

When Pomni explores Jax's mind, she finds herself in a purple room with five doors. In the second scenario, Zooble has abstracted. Gangle is seen happily instructing the other members (excluding Jax) to make the best funeral for Zooble, telling them it's what they would've wanted. Jax arrives in the maid outfit from "Untitled", which Gangle questions Jax about. He tells her it's the best way to mourn Zooble's spirit by wearing a "gender-freaky" outfit. Gangle complains that Jax is just wearing it to make fun of them, and Jax tells her back that she's doing the same thing. Gangle falls to her knees and tells Jax that she hates him, in which Jax pulls her closer to him, accusing Gangle to secretly like it. Gangle is flustered by the comment, and Jax tosses her a key to his room, telling her to meet him later after the funeral. Pomni closes the door and attempts to pull off the boards of the locked room. She instead heads to the third door, in which Gangle has abstracted. In the scenario, Zooble is seen mad at Jax for "killing the only person they'd ever loved", and plans to kill Jax. In the Looney Tunes-like thought, Jax flips the scenery to off a cliff, causing Zooble to fall straight off the cliff. Jax ends the scenario in a Looney Tunes one.

When Jax's memories are shown, after his rejection of Ragatha, as if on cue, a new human arrives in the circus, appearing with red ribbons and a comedy mask. After the comedy mask ends up breaking, Jax cruelly tells everyone they should call the new human "Gangle", as the name sounds "pathetic as [Gangle] looks", which Caine complies with. From that day forward, Jax's behavior got even worse, as he would being to abuse the members around him for his own amusement, specifically targeting Gangle, with the latter's submissive nature preventing her from standing up for herself making her the perfect punching bag.

After Pomni is injured by Jax, the Circus members build a large shack tent out of pillows to contain Jax as the Circus regains its color. Gangle finally cries for Jax after she and the others construct a tent to keep the abstracted Jax pacified. She and the others gather at the couches. Gangle eventually faces Caine, who atones for his actions and allows Gangle to learn about her actual existence and how her real life counterpart is doing. With the help of the saner Caine, she and the gang are able to remake the Circus into a place that's better suited for them, ascribing meaning to her life. Zooble and Gangle start a relationship. Everyone is sitting at the dinner table just like the end of the pilot episode, as Gangle has finally accepted her new life and found her purpose.

During the credits, while carrying a box down the corridor to their rooms, Ragatha blushes when she sees hearts coming out from Zooble's room and sees Gangle's door is open, implying a moment of intimacy is occurring. In the post-credit scene, in the real world, Abigail (Pomni) and Grant (Kinger) are waiting at the bus stop before Leeroy (Jax), Suzie (Ragatha), Riley (Zooble), and Zoey (Gangle) show up. The bus arrives and the six strangers, unaware of anything that happened between them through their clones, get on before it drives off, ending the episode and the series.
